We all have things about ourselves that we want to change, whether it’s negative thoughts that won’t stop popping up, emotions that aren’t effective or helpful, or behaviors that aren’t healthy. What holds most of us back from change is not knowing how to think, feel, or act differently. The first step to change is choosing to change. The second step to change is realizing how or recognizing we don’t know how and that we may need guidance to move forward. Making these choices, we can start ourselves on the path to a new and healthier life.
